When the load on the servers is light, you can get some huge mismatches in ship strengths. My first online battle lasted for just the 32 seconds it took for my destroyer to get past the first barrier island and into the sights of a battleship. In reality, the only discernible difference was how long it took for my ship to get obliterated.

This is a beneficial grace period that allows for learning how to use the ships and weapons in a less stressful environment. While not a direct copy (there is new content available that the PC version does not have), the gameplay is very similar to that of the other games, PC or console. World of Warships: Legends is the name given to the port (nautical term!) of the game from the PC to the Xbox and PlayStation 4. Just to get this out in the open, that does not describe me. As with the others, WoWs is an online multiplayer battle game that favors players with patience, team coordination skills, and great aim. You can still peek, but you're not invisible when you're doing it.World of Warships(WoWs), the newest entry in the World of Warmachine series, is pretty much what you would expect if you have ever encountered the Tanks and Warplanes variants, at least in broad terms. MWO found a nice compromise with the visible 3rd person drone though. Typically, I don't think competitive games should have 3rd person, since people use it to peek around corners and such. I don't use it myself, but I've tried it before. It even deploys a little drone so people can see if you're using 3rd person to peek around stuff.

It could be tricky when knife-fighting with other fast-movers, but I don't think there's any getting around that.Īlso, there's a button that toggles 3rd-person view in MWO. I had a lot of fun with the Locust as well. I ran my Raven more than any other mech I had. Though same with playing light mechs in MWO on PC due to awful FOV and only first-person view, ugh.

Playing light tanks on mobile were just awful.
